Customer Service Week

Let your stars shine during this wonderful week

National Customer Service Week (NCSW) is a popular customer service event held around the world.

The week long event is dedicated to recognizing the many millions of service professionals who go the extra mile each and every day, for customers.

Launched by the International Customer Service Organization (ICSA) in 1984, the event is celebrated every year during the first full week in October.

There is a new logo each year which is revealed on the customer service week website. You can also find some ideas on how to celebrate and read how companies have celebrated in the past.

If you have not participated before, I recommend that you do so. It’s a wonderful way to for you and your organisation to show your appreciation to your team and to celebrate with them.

Some teams decorate their workplace, dress up or organize their event around a theme. Parties, fun and recognizing each other for outstanding performance is definitely the order of the day!

So what are you waiting for? Why not let your hair down and celebrate this year? Not only with your employees be happy, you will make your customers happy too!

Some great customer service tips can be found on the CSM website.
